Prithviraj’s directorial debut, Lucifer, is set in a large canvas with politics, crime, revenge and emotions mixed in a delightful way.
The story begins with the death of Chief Minister P K Ramdas (Sachin Khedekar), which initiates a political turmoil. The wily players within the party swings into action from then on. Ramdas’ daughter Priyadarshini (Manju Warrier) and her husband Bobby (Vivek Oberoi) dictate terms.
The party top brass and Ramdas’ family come up with a suggestion to anoint the deceased CM’s younger son Jathin Ramdas (Tovino Thomas) as the successor. This was acceptable for the major players as it would sideline the powerful Stephen Nedumbally (Mohanlal), Ramdas’ foster son.
The death of chief minister PK Ramdas has his party search of his successor. Ramdas’ son-in-law Bobby comes with an offer for funds, and a means to wrest power while pushing his illegitimate business. But, there’s one man standing in his way – Stephen Nedumpally.

Though Murali Gopy’s writing is flat at most places @PrithviOfficial manages to present it neatly cashing upon @Mohanlal ‘s screen presence and his technical team. Emotional depth is missing between the characters.1 tym watch for me. Nevertheless, fans have enuf to cheer
